Doheny’s Filter Cleaner And Degreaser, 4 Qt

Our pool filter cleaner and degreaser is ideal for cleaning Sand, D.E. and Cartridge Filters. Just pour into your skimmer for sand filters and you’ll be impressed by how effectively it reduces the amount of time and work you spend on pool maintenance. Prevents channeling.

DE & Cartridge Filters:** TURN OFF AUTOMATIC FEEDER **
Fill a spray bottle with full strength product and evenly coat element or cartridge solution of 1 part product to 3 parts water for 1hr.

For Sand Filter: ** TURN OFF AUTOMATIC FEEDER **

• Backwash filter completely
• Turn off pump and pour filter cleaner into skimmer basket
• Turn pump on until pump primes and product moves into filter
• Turn pump off-leaving filter selector in backwash position
• Wait one hour
• Turn pump on until backwash water is clear

Dosage:

• (8)oz or 1 cup per 100lb of sand into skimmer while backwashing
• Repeat at each backwashing for maximum filter performance.
• DOUBLE AMOUNT IF FILTER HAS NOT BEEN DEGREASED WITHIN 12 MONTHS
• REMOVE CHLORINE FROM SKIMMER BASKET
